"Hammer Michail Antonio will not be given permission to leave by West Ham and/or David Moyes in this transfer window unless the Hammers sign another striker who, in their opinion, is better than him"

LOL

Re: Antonio might leave!
I thought he had left about 12,months ago based on his performances.

His mind is on his next career and the end of this one so he’s keen for extra dosh a move might give him. Imho

Re: Antonio might leave!
Whilst Antonio is no longer the player he was I fear he may be the tip of the iceburg. Wonder how many others in the squad are p#ssed off with the way the club is being run and have long since given up. Add to that some players are not willing to jjoin us we really are in the mire. Quite sickening that sullivan is prepared to let us sink to this level, what a horrendous excuse for a man!

Re: Antonio might leave!
Having listened to his podcast, how he thinks he is going to have a career in the media industry after football, god only knows. He will only get the gig because.....

He is thick as shit when he speaks and comes across as a spoilt entitled brat at times. Callum Wilson can articulate himself, although both sound like they are on a football pitch dug out in the ghetto.

Was a breath of fresh air, good fun, then injuries, a bit above his station, if he wants to go then go, wont be a massive miss

85K a week.!

Fucking hell. I reckon Swiss wouldn't even get out of bed for that amount.? Penny pinching board. Little wonder we are in the shit.

Re: Antonio might leave!
That is causing unrest, and as Stewie has alluded to, who I know gets good info, he's causing unrest at the club. Unlike a bellend like you who spoke to a PL footballer once, I am really good mates with an ex pro, who played at a lower level, and if you think it was just a job to him and most who he played with, you're a fucking idiot.

Being a multi millionaire famous footballer, having your name sung by thousands of people every week, is not a normal job.

Also, in his stupid podcast, he's letting on the managers exact tactics, do you think he should be doing that? The loyal servant should be concentrating on his 'normal job' what he is paid £75,000 a week for.

Re: Antonio might leave!
I think he’s always been prone to these arrogant outbursts. I remember him going Billy big bollocks after being named player of the year in 2017 until his hamstrings continued to give up and he realised we’re the best he’s going to get.

Recently claimed he welcomes competition and when it arrives, throws his toys out.

Thickest footballer out there. I’m not convinced he would ever have played in the top flight if we didn’t take a punt on him, unless getting promoted with a team.

I’d be happy to see him go. I’ve found him infuriating as a footballer far more times than he’s impressed me.

OTB - Maybe saying the club isn't happy with Scamacca.

What unrest has he caused? Some berks online? It won't be with the players as they all know the score and that just about any of them could be on the move at any time. All he's said is stuff WE aren't used to hearing.

And whether anyone likes it or not, a Club IS just an employer to most of them. Source: a former PL footballer.

Oh, the old 'imagine when you are at work' bollocks.

It has to be one of the most grating things in the world, the 'it's just a job to them' bollocks. Being a famous Premier League footballer, and earning tens of millions of pounds, is not just a job. It cannot be related to a normal workplace.

The club who have made him unbelievably rich and famous are in a proper, proper scrap, and the LOYAL SERVANT is tossing it off. Apologies for finding that a bit fucking shit.

Crassus 1:56 Fri Jan 27
Re: Antonio might leave!
Oh and of this PL record business
Face value to be applauded but he ain't Jimmy Greaves is he - ffs what competition has there been?
We must have had close on as many strikers in that time as he has goals - so by just being there for the time he has demands he tops the list

Crassus 1:52 Fri Jan 27
Re: Antonio might leave!
My two bobs worth

Antonio has limitation, mentally as well as footballing and is clearly on the downslope
He deserves acknowledgment for his contribution but I suspect much of the ire being directed toward him is a consequence of Moyes rigidity over the last 18 months

It's not his fault that he saw him as Van Basten reincarnate and fucked up replacements/alternatives repeatedly - Antonio has become a personification of Moyes failings so attracts reflected grief

Think Antonio think Moyes like think Carrol think Fat Sam

Re: Antonio might leave!
Fuck me - you lot are a tough, unforgiving crowd!

Imagine sharing an office with some of you, slogging your guts out for years, week in week out, until you physically break. Then, when you're thinking of moving towards retirement, somebody questions whether you've even made any sacrifices or commitment: and that, even if you did, it's sort of irrelevant because you were paid anyway.

I'm bringing an employment lawyer to WHO in future!

Despite your collective insanity, have a good cup weekend. It's still all about the fans. See you on the other side.
;-)

"He's causing unrest at a time when we really, really need everyone to pull together. I don't care how many goals he's scored in the past"

Exactly. It like the one or two Moyes supporters on here bringing up that we did well in Europe ages ago.

Look at the present, don't dwell on the past.

Lee Trundle 1:34 Fri Jan 27
Re: Antonio might leave!
He's compensated £85k a week for these "sacrifices" he's made.

I'm probably ashamed to admit in public what I'd sacrifice for £85k a week!

Eerie Descent 1:33 Fri Jan 27
Re: Antonio might leave!
So because he's been, in your opinion, a good servant to the club, you don't think anyone should be able to call him out for creating unnecessary agg for the club by publicly airing the first thing that enters his hollow nut?

He's causing unrest at a time when we really, really need everyone to pull together. I don't care how many goals he's scored in the past, that's the stuff of a self centred egotist. Knuckle the fuck down and pull us out of this mess, stop telling the world what you might or might not do.

stewie griffin 1:31 Fri Jan 27
Re: Antonio might leave!
I'd say it's the exact opposite of a modern fan view. The modern fan view is to rattle on about being a premier league record goalscorer and talk about players making sacrifices

When he first arrived he was miles away from the first team. Not good enough. The club has developed him - the only club for whom be has played a minute of top level of football - and paid him tens of millions of pounds to do a job.
